All About Suspenders
Back in April of 2018, we began working on the Suspender Store YouTube channel. Suspender Store has been a great client who we love, so we were excited to work on their YouTube channel art.
The goals were simple: improve existing content, add new content, get more subscribers, market their suspenders e-commerce store. Ventura quickly went to work creating all new thumbnails for the channel. Meanwhile, Suspender Store focused on creating new content.
This combo of producing consistent content and professional branding has had interesting results. It’s resulted in a noticeable improvement in engagement with their audience. We’ve gathered the data from before and after this change below:
Whoa, those are interesting results! But what can we tell by looking at these stats? The biggest changes seen here all involve engagement. More likes, more comments, more shares.
Engagement is reflective of how people are reacting to the content, rather than just if they’ve seen it or not. You can think of it as customer feedback.
Unfortunately, we did not end up seeing an increase in subscribers. We did see more positive feedback and engagement though. This tells us that the audience is liking the content being shared and is reacting well to it.
We’re happy with the results so far! We look forward to looking for new ways to improve Suspender Store’s YouTube channel.
Garage Doors for the Masses
We’ve had a relationship with Ohio’s North Shore Commercial Door for years. When they came to us with the goal of growing the North Shore Commercial Door YouTube channel, we jumped at the opportunity and haven’t looked back!
Like Suspender Store, NSCD had existing videos and content produced for the channel. They had a specific goal: grow their subscribers. Together, we went through and completely rebranded their YouTube channel art. We also began creating bold, easy to read thumbnails for their videos.
During this time, they also produced and shared more videos and content on a consistent basis. We recently looked into the results of the past 6 months of the channel and compared it to the 6 months before that. We found that the channel had impressive growth during that time, so let’s dive into it!
The growth achieved was great to see! But, let’s break it down and see if can find out the bigger picture in the stats.
That original goal of growing to 1000 subscribers was accomplished within the first few months. We saw an almost 350% increase in subscribers gained when compared to the previous 6 months.
Hitting that goal was a milestone because it allowed NSCD more freedom on the platform in form of advertising. That advertising was a huge player in a massive 200% increase in video views during that time-frame.
Naturally, getting more views isn’t the only marker of successful videos. Engagement saw an improvement as well, with more watch time, likes, comments & shares.
