I’ve been an independent contract artist for Disney for over 20 years. Most of my annual income is from the in-person art events held in the Theme Parks each year. At the time of the shutdown in March I was preparing for a week-long event in April that was cancelled as a result of the Park closures. Without knowing at the time when things would open back up I was forced to switch gears and start producing artwork for other markets.
