10 Ways to Improve Your Facebook Page

August 22, 2020/in Design, eCommerce, Marketing /by Kevin Richards
Did you know your Facebook page could be one of your best tools for increasing your revenue? With the proper relevance and frequency of your posts you could tap a whole new market you didn’t even know existed!

Here’s 10 things a successful business should be doing with their Facebook page:

  1. Identify a Target Market

Use Facebook audience insights or other tools to find your target market.

  2. Find Niche Interests

Find out exactly what is most important to your audience and identify how you can address it.

  3. Appeal to Niche Interests with Posts

Use the audience and niche data you gathered to determine content strategy for the page.

  4. Boost Niche Posts to that Audience

Invest a small budget to boosting posts to start gaining engagement from your target market.

  5. Comment, Reply and Encourage Engagement

Comment on the post and tag people who have reacted, after 5+ people it should start building organic engagement. Reply to comments with questions.

  6. Invite Engaged Users to Like your Page

Use this audience to build your Facebook page likes.

  7. Get your Tone Right

Speak, think and act like your audience. If you sell baby clothes, your tone and types of content you share should reflect that.¹

  8. Be Ready for a Long Term Investment

Building a Facebook page takes time. Maintain strong relationships with those who like your page. Even if they don’t convert into sales today, they might another day.

  9. Stick to a Schedule

Set up and stick to a schedule, be consistent. It’s okay to repost evergreen content like blog posts or infographics. Just don’t miss a day, then post twice, then post once late at night etc.

  10. Monitor and Measure

Have a goal to begin with and monitor your results. Periodically (roughly once a month) explore your Page’s insights. Look at what’s working and what isn’t.

Motivated? Excited? Ready to start growing your Facebook audience? GREAT! Get a detailed plan together and make it happen!
